How to create and use tags to filter tasks with GroupCamp
GroupCamp allows you to use tags on tasks. Depending on your usage, you can use tags to represent clients or partners or you can use tags to represent internal activities or organizations. Using tags on tasks in various projects makes it easier to filter your tasks view in the Dashboard which is the cross-project view.
You can add tags on a task by clicking on the tag icon and searching for existing tags or you can just add a new tag by entering the name of the tag. Once your tasks are tagged, you can filter them using the filter button.
When using the filter feature, you can combine a tag with a project member.
Tags become very useful in the Dashboard which is the cross-project view. You can use tags to filter tasks across all projects and you can combine them with other task status tags (i.e: late, upcoming completed). In the Admin panel you can enable or disable the use of tags.
